Growing up in an Air Force family, Mark spent his youth living in several of the southern states as well as 3 years in Japan. After high school graduation Mark was accepted to the University of Illinois College of Architecture where he graduated with a degree in Architecture in 1978. Leaving Illinois, he headed out to Colorado where he began his apprenticeship with an architectural firm that specialized in the design and construction of multi-family residential properties. He was associated with the design and construction of over 10,000 units in 5 different states in a 10 year period. After becoming both a licensed architect and general contractor, Mark started his own company where he specialized in the design, construction and sales of high end single family residences. He and his partner Debra Toney currently design and build high end speculative homes in the Denver Metro area.
